You'll work on a team alongside Apple engineers to create an iOS app. Join us at these sessions to meet Apple engineers and recruiters.
If you've never developed for iOS before, sign up for the Introduction to iOS Development Workshop (signup here). Practice what you've learned by working on a team to make an app throughout the rest of the week where Apple engineers will be on-site to help you if you get stuck.
If you're already a pro or just want to hone your skills, skip the workshop and participate in the rest of the challenge.
At the end of the week, all teams will present their projects in the Ingle Auditorium on Monday night, February 1st at 7:30pm. We'll have a raffle for exclusive Apple t-shirts from Cupertino and you'll get a chance to see what your fellow students created then vote for your favorite. Apple is then hosting a networking event to speak to hiring managers looking for co-ops and full-time positions on Tuesday, February 2nd at 4:30pm in the Fireside Lounge. Bring several copies of your resume.
Get an interesting project for your resume and experiences to talk about in your interview by participating!
The top team will win a iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil for each member of the team.
The RIT iOS App Challenge is presented by CodeRIT, the Society of Software Engineers, the Computer Science Community, Computer Science House, and Women in Computing at RIT with sponsorship from Apple.
